This image was made in September, in my view one of the best months to see Scotland as the colours can be spectacular. Waiting for several hours with midges swarming around was interesting, but the wait was worthwhile as - for just a minute - the light appeared and radiated across the scene, bringing out the Autumnal colours and the purple heather.
