Perhaps this shot looks like it was made at dawn in mid-Summer, but in fact it was made in freezing windy conditions at dusk in mid-Winter; two benefits of this are the beautiful clear light in the sky, and the fact that no midges were around! Working in this fast-changing light in the cold and wind with a large format camera was a challenge!
