Eas nam Meirlich (riverbed), Glen Etive, West Highlands, Scotland
An amazing array of natural colours caught my eye. On the right, the blue colour is the sky reflecting off the ice on the rock. The rock sculpture is on the corner of a remote highland riverbed, and has been carved out over many, many years as spate water has slammed into the rock, creating an eddie. The red colour is probably due to iron deposits in the rock.
